While Traffik does a fantastic job of allowing anyone to manage site content by itself, Dreamweaver allows a little more in-depth control for anyone who would consider themselves a little more advanced with web development. Web pages, images, page templates, CSS, javascript, and much more become completely accessible within Dreamweaver, thanks to the seamless integration of the Triangle plugin.
We have some exciting news for web designers who prefer to use Dreamweaver for managing website content. If you have upgraded to the new Creative Suite 4, or plan on doing so in the future, you’ll be glad to know that Triangle has been fully tested and works great in the new version of Adobe’s software.
Check out just a few of the helpful new additions to the Dreamweaver CS4 feature lineup:
- Live View – Design away and get real-time Webkit rendering that shows you how your code looks in a live browsing environment
- Code hinting for Ajax and JavaScript frameworks – Pretty cool stuff here for JavaScript junkies. CS4 now incorporates frameworks like Prototype and jQuery to help you write your code more efficiently.
- Related Files and Code Navigator – Quickly access files associated to a document using the Related Files bar, and highlight CSS source code by clicking on a selection in your markup.
- CSS best practices – Gives you simple explanation of where each property fits in the cascade of styles, and helps you optimize your CSS without writing code. If your beginner to CSS, this should be a handy tool to learn the inner workings of CSS.
We’re excited about some of the new features Adobe has rolled into this new version of Dreamweaver, and if this higher level of code control fits your bill, you might give it a try. If you do decide to dive into the new version, remember that you should have no problems controlling Traffik using the Triangle plugin.
